Gravity Forms Popup Confirmations 2.0 RC

Note: This is a release candidate for Gravity Forms Popup Confirmations 2.0. This is not a final release. The latest stable release can be downloaded here.

Out of the box, Gravity Forms allows you to display a text confirmation or redirect users to a page or URL after they submit a form on your website. With Gravity Forms Popup Confirmations 2.0, you can display a text confirmation in a popup modal, rather than having the text replace the form on the page after submission.

With version 2.0, you can:

• Change a text confirmation into a popup confirmation with one click.
• Conditionally load confirmations based on user input.
• Include data parameters in the URL accompanying the pop-up confirmation.
• View the popup confirmation when previewing a form.

The popup generated by the plugin is also more accessible for those using assistive technologies.

How to Download & Install Gravity Forms Popup Confirmations

1. Use the form on this page to have a download link emailed to you. You must provide a valid email address to receive the download link.
2. Download the plugin.
3. In your WordPress dashboard, go to plugins, and then click Add New and then Upload Plugin.
4. Find the downloaded zip file for the plugin, and then click Open.
5. Click Activate Plugin.

Creating a Gravity Forms Popup Confirmation

1. Create or edit a text confirmation for a Gravity Forms form.
2. Check the checkbox to have the confirmation display in a popup/modal.
3. Add or update the confirmation message.
4. Add or update any data parameters to be passed to the confirmation, including any desired merge tags.
5. Save the confirmation.
6. Text your form.

Note: If you used a previous version of Gravity Forms Popup Confirmations, you added the “gf_confirmation_popup” class to your form settings. You should remove this class when using version 2.0+ of this plugin. The popup will will work with the class added to the form, but you won’t be able to conditionally load confirmations.

Updates

Plugin updates will be automatically available as stable releases are published on GitHub. The release candidate should update to the final release once published.
